Victor Radnaev is a Partner in the Dispute Resolutions and Sanctions practice at Brevia. He advises on complex cross-border litigation and international arbitration proceedings; administrative processes related to sanctions removal; sanctions compliance and corporate disputes. He advises on recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards in Russia, as well as in other proceedings. He has first-hand experience in over 40 matters in various industries, including natural resources, energy, manufacturing and transport, construction and sales contracts.

In his more than 15 years of experience, he has represented clients in institutional and ad hoc commercial arbitration proceedings under the LCIA, ICC, SIAC, JAMS, SCC rules, as well as the Swiss Rules of International Arbitration and the LMAA Terms. Victor has successfully led cases in the UK and the U.S., as well as before the ECJ.

His recent projects include:

  • Representing clients in proceedings under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules in a dispute out of a PSA.

  • Representing clients in the proceedings under the LCIA Rules in a dispute out of the breach of an SPA of a large CIS-based industrial corporation.

  • Advising shareholders of a large Russian company in arbitration under the LCIA Rules over a breach of a shareholders’ agreement on the management of a major development project.

  • Advising clients in regard to future administrative processes related to sectoral sanctions under LCIA and SIAC Rules.

  • Advising clients with respect to proceedings before the ECJ connected to sanctions removal and the preceding administrative proceedings in courts of the UK, Canada, Australia and Switzerland.

  • Advising clients on sanction issues in the course of their corporate reorganization.

Prior to joining Brevia, Victor represented clients at leading Russian law firms.
