Natalia Kovalkova is an Associate at Brevia. She specializes in dispute resolution and sanctions compliance. Natalia represents clients in state courts as well as in international arbitration proceedings.
Natalia's projects include representing clients in major construction disputes, preparing legal opinions on commercial and investment arbitration matters, and advising private clients in the context of sanctions.
Prior to joining Brevia, Natalia worked in a CIS law firm and interned in Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) and The International and Comparative Law Research Center (ICLRC).
Natalia graduated from St Petersburg University, obtained an LL.M in University of Illinois (USA) and completed The Hague Academy of International Law course. Natalia is a Winner and Honorable Mention Advocate of the 2019 Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot (Miami, USA) and a Winner of 2021 LL.M Client-Counseling competition in University of Illinois (USA).
